New favorite blog. Period. The lovely thing about it is how clear but absolutely personal I perceive it to be. Relative to my own experience. The power and grace of words.
Have you ever been somewhere, crowded especially, and really looked at people? Like at the mall? Or on the bus? And been shocked and delighted to realize how beautiful they are? I mean, really really beautiful. Fuzzy and dewy, bright, interesting, aged or young, they're beautiful. Or have you ever reviewed someone you love and realize how other people see them? Maybe as old or Black or White or funny looking or ugly; but because you love them and know them - you think they're NORMAL? Or even, interesting?
I'm always happy to find that my friendships with people make them beautiful. But totally surprised to know that I can see that in strangers.
